Something Very Strange is Going On

Wed Feb 06, 2008 at 02:14:51 AM PDT

Not everybody's a fan of caucuses, but few can argue that it would be difficult to fix a caucus or change the results of a caucus. Unlike black box voting machines, caucuses are public events where popular opinion is easily seen. There have been 11 caucuses held so far this year and what stands out is how different their results are compared with the other primaries where individual votes are secretly cast.

Why are the results of the caucuses so different than the states with secret ballots?

Last night was very odd. Romney clearly got worked, the polls were farther off than Hillary's win in New Hampshire. Similarly, Hillary got some more unexpected ramp somewhere. And Huckabee-- if that wasn't massive voter fraud, this country's worse off than I thought it was. Something very strange is going on. I think last night's results need to be looked at very carefully.
